Overview of role:

A key member of the Sales & Marketing team, you will be a creative thinker who can translate strategic needs, messages and values into engaging and eye-catching content.   

You will be responsible for the creation and delivery of high quality, consistent and effective designs from concept to production, including digital assets, marketing materials, and multimedia graphics.

Key Responsibilities:

Your activities will include:

  • Provide creative input and ideas, brainstorm and develop design concepts from initiation to completion of finished artwork.
  • Adhere to and maintain integrity of RLB global brand guidelines and support their development.
  • Design of information graphics, illustrations, brochures and reports, exhibition displays, marketing collateral and signage.
  • Support development of rich media including video, animation, interactive tools and microsites.
  • Creation of content for client presentations.
  • Create storyboards for RLB videos.
  • Support with the filming of RLB branded videos and editing of filmed footage including adding graphics, creating new visuals and concepts to develop video styles where required.
  • Provide design support for bids, ensuring messages and solutions are clearly communicated.
  • Research and maintain a library of imagery which can be used in marketing materials and associated licencing.
  • Maintain database of design, photography and video.
  • Source ,engage and manage external creative agencies where appropriate.

Technical ability/software skills:

  • Adobe Creative Suite (5.5 or above) (InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Wordpress and Photoshop).
  • Working knowledge of website structure/functionality and basic HTML.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and social media.
  • To continually develop skills in the latest desktop publishing, printing and graphic design techniques, apply these as necessary and share knowledge with members of Sales and Marketing team.
  • To evaluate the need for software/hardware training, purchasing and upgrading and to implement these when agreed.

Person specification:

This role requires the ability to take conceptual ideas through to final deliverable. You’ll be able to take direction and create designs that connects with a varied audience – including clients, future clients, employees, potential employees or industry peers.

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, or similar discipline.
  • Bring creative and innovative thinking and a collaborative approach to project delivery.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Creative, capable of producing professional, impactful visual designs for sales and marketing purposes.
  • Strong layout and design skills, attention to detail, accuracy, creativity.
  • Ability to work to multiple strict deadlines, and under pressure.
  • Strong understanding of corporate branding, layout, colour theory and typography.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with agencies. Managing performance and production of materials to ensure delivery on brief, deadline and budget.
